Adding and Removing Devices in Garmin Express
Garmin Express
is a downloadable application on your computer that interacts with Garmin Connect web and the Garmin Connect app. It can be used for multiple Garmin products.

To use Garmin.com/Express your device needs to be connected to the computer using the USB charging cable or an ANT+ stick. If the application is installed, Garmin Express will launch and connect with the external drive.

NOTE: The Forerunner 310XT/405/405CX/410/610/910XT, Garmin Swim, vivofit, vivofit 2/3/4, and vivomove require an ANT stick to make a connection with Garmin Express.

Choose an Option Below to Reveal Instructions
To Add a New Device to Garmin Express

  1. Open Garmin Express.
  2. Connect a new device or ANT stick to the computer.
  3. Click Add a Device.

If you are adding a second device of the same model, a message will come up asking if you want to replace the first device. If this is a replacement device, click Yes. If you have two devices of the same model, click No.

  1. When the device is found, click Add Device.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to add the device to Garmin Express.

NOTE: When signing in, if you already have the device paired to the Garmin Connect app on your phone, make sure to use the same credentials in Express as on your phone.

To Delete a Device from Garmin Express
Windows

  1. Open Garmin.com/Express.
  2. Right-click the device.
  3. Click Remove from Express.
  4. Click Remove.

Another Way to Remove the Device:

  1. Open Garmin Express.
  2. Left-click the device
  3. Click Tools & Content
  4. Click Utilities
  5. Scroll down to Remove From Express and select Remove Device

Mac

  1. Open Garmin Express.
  2. Hold Control (Ctrl) on your keyboard and click the device when using a one-button mouse on a Mac.
  3. Click Remove from Express.
  4. Click Remove.

Another Way to Remove the Device:

  1. Open Garmin Express.
  2. Select the device
  3. Select Tools & Content
  4. Select Utilities

  1. Scroll down to Remove From Express and select Remove Device

Remove Device

The device will be removed from Garmin Express.
